ACB supports the Berliner Missionswerk with their Ethiopian Mission. This is in close cooperation with the EECMY (Ethiopian Evangelical Church of Mekane Yesus), one of the largest Lutheran congregations in the world.

There is currently a lack of female pastors in the EECMY’s 31 synods. With its Let the Women Teach the Bible project, ACB currently supports one female theology student in Dembi Dollo, Western Wollega, near the border with South Sudan.
