Vincent Kiefer
American Church in Berlin called Vincent Kiefer as their Minister of Music in October of 2025. He is a Berlin-based church musician and organist who also serves in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen. A native of the city, he began his musical path with the accordion and piano before finding his lasting focus at the organ. He studied in Berlin and has continued to develop his skills in both performance and church music.
Kiefer is active as both a liturgical musician and concert performer, with a particular interest in organ improvisation. In addition to his work as an organist, he directs the Ecumenical Choir CantaViva in Hohenschönhausen, leading performances of major choral works such as Karl Jenkins’ Stabat Mater and J.S. Bach’s Weihnachtsoratorium. In 2025, he led the first Organ Summer Festival at the American Church in Berlin, where his creative approach to the organ and thoughtful programming received an enthusiastic response.
